Now, the trick I want to teach you when calculating circle skirts is that you only need to remember the 1/6 formula for the full circle. For a half circle skirt, just invert the 1/2, which becomes 2, and then multiply it by 1/6. That’s it!

Now, let’s try this with a quarter circle skirt. The formula for a quarter circle skirt is 4 times 1/6. We even have a two-thirds circle skirt, where all you need to do is invert this fraction, turning it into 3/2, and then multiply it by 1/6. These numbers give you the radius of the waist circle for the skirt.
